Not implying that you did, I am just curious because I would like to read other sources of this type of information - if they are out there. Second let me say I never heard this propounded anywhere by anyone and I believe that when you think of it, God always connects all the dots, and that it would be necessary for this to be the case - keeping the untarnished Y chromosome from Adam for Jesus. Otherwise He would be a new and district creation, not from the lineage of Adam! In order to save those fallen, which is everyone ever born including Adam - Adams seed (or race -) the Savior must come from Adams loins ( Heb 2:17) and yet be without sin. Furthermore, He also needed the lineage of the house of David which came through Mary. The way I see it this is the only possible explanation for this Biblical dilemma!

The one question that always plagued me was that if Jesus didn't have some measure of fallen man within him, could he really sympathize with my weaknesses - tempted in "all" things as we are (Heb 4:15). In a sense Jesus would be more than and different from me in some way, and in effect disqualify Him from being fully"sympathetic" with me and my weakness. Also this would justify people from not walking as He walked because there capacity in some way is less than Jesus, because He is different and distinct, and they are in affect weaker than Him! Mary's egg was of a fallen nature and was used to create Jesus - weather people want to accept that or not, that's the case! Yet He was in fact without any practical sin. Now if that doesn't encourage the body of Christ to live in victory, I don't know what will!

My conclusion is this, your evaluation of this matter is the only fail safe explanation that fits the Biblical text. Great job, I appreciate your labor in the Lord and it has blessed me to come upon your blog. Keep it up!
